GTS is a proud owner of Iceland\u2018s first electric coach, promoting an eco-friendly future of traveling. It is a 49+1 passenger luxury coach with 422 kW. The range is 350-400 km per charge. Estimated driving per year is 60,000 to 100,000 km, so there is considerable savings in CO2<\/sub>. This coach is 100% electric, and also for heating and\/or cooling, so this is a very exciting environmentally friendly option. The company has also confirmed the purchase of several smaller electric coaches, from 20-35 passengers, which will be delivered in the coming months.<\/p>\n The goal of GTS is to demonstrate that electrification is a viable option for group tour companies in Iceland. The company aims to be a leader in energy exchange in Iceland in group travel operations.
